Arranger
and recording engineer John LeVasseur is the
owner/operator of Sound Design Music Studio here in
Lancaster, Pa. He has produced hundreds of
music projects for
various artists and has written and
produced radio/TV jingles and promotional music for
many area businesses. John has over 20 years
experience in the recording business
John is
a 1990 graduate of the Grove School of Music in Los
Angeles. He also holds a degree in applied
science (electronic technology) from Eastern Maine
Tech College and
has over 20 years experience in the computer industry.
John
worked for the American Music Theatre for over 10
years -initially as a music arranger and technical
consultant then later as production manager
responsible for sound, lighting, band, cast and crew
management, wardrobe and scenic element
implementation for more than 300 shows per year.
Over the
past twenty years John has enjoyed collaborating
with many artists in his studio, and he is most
enthusiastic about the artistic and technical aspects of
music production in the 21st century.
You
can often find him in the studio all hours of the
day and night.
