Room acoustics are as important all other

links in a production/mastering studio

Room acoustics is often underestimated. Unfortunately an experienced studio engineer with the highest quality equipment can ruin a perfectly good mix, or a master, working in a faulty room. Poor acoustics cannot be compensated for by “training” or “learning the room.”

In order to achieve sonic accuracy of the control room, acoustical treatment has been applied to the walls, floor and ceiling -absorbers, diffusers, and bass traps. Then I-K's Acoustic Correction System was installed to further refine the control room to address the remaining issues not resolved by acoustical treatment.
